We are currently looking for candidates to join us as Mud Logging Geologists

Role description:

You will be working in a mobile high technology laboratory run by a crew of 4 people, providing geological and drilling surveillance. You will be responsible for:
•Assisting with and have direct responsibility for, the effective management of the mud logging unit, including personnel and equipment.
•Assisting other well site personnel and the drilling operation by monitoring and recording drilling parameters, drilling fluid properties and pumping parameters,
•Providing primary well control surveillance by plotting pressure trends.
•Logging information on the rock formations being drilled by describing geological cuttings and monitoring gas shows.
We don’t expect you to have skills specific to that position or professional experience. Geoservices invest greatly in their staff, we will provide our employees with superb specialist training.

Your profile:
•Degree in geology or applied physical earth sciences.
•Fluent English
•Aptitude to absorb a wide range of technical information including geology, chemistry, mechanics, electricity, electronics and computer science.
•Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

•Willingness to work in a multicultural and multinational environment
